And as we ran from the cops
We laughed so hard it would sting
Appearance:
Cassie is short, standing at 5'1. She frequently dyes her hair new colors but currently wears a predominantly red head of hair with bleach blonde tips and undertones. She likes to wear subtle colors like blue and green and black but you'll occasionally catch her in something pink. She sticks to bluejeans and has no tattoos or piercings at all. She absolutely hates her eye color, a murky green cluttered with a muddy brown ring that encircles her pupil. She owns two pairs of shoes, some black running shoes, and some scuffed black boots that she wears just about every day.
Personality:
Cassidy can be a bit paranoid and with her previous hallucinations, she has trouble distinguishing between reality and dreams. She has a short temper and can get very mad very quickly. She's killed before and it it weren't for the lack of sharp objects, she wouldn't hesitate to do it again. Aside from that, she's polite to others but can be shy as well. She gets nervous easily and is prone to fierce anxiety attacks which can last for hours, not to mention the insomnia that can leave her restless for days. She's quick to trust but not quick to forgive.
It's become a habit to blame things that she's done that she isn't proud of on her late sister Phoebe. Ever since she blamed her first and only direct murder on her long gone sister, she finds it's a viable excuse for things she's done. She refuses to believe that she's anything less than perfect.
Believe it or not she's very friendly and really enjoys the company of others but can be anxious when around girls that remind her of her sister either in their actions or appearance. She doesn't really like a lot of attention , but rather prefers to 'blend in.' If asked about hobbies or things about herself in general she'll often turn it around and ask a question about the other person instead. She's pretty social but doesn't mind being alone. Weather she's alone or in public she needs background noise as she hates silence. She can't sleep without some form of hum in the background so she often sleeps with her ear buds in and never goes anywhere without her iPod just in case things get too quiet.
She has been diagnosed with Shizotypal disorder, separation anxiety, and Dissociative identity disorder.
You're just a sad song with nothing to say
About a life long wait for a hospital stay
Likes: strong coffee, happy music, Disney movies, dying her hair,
Dislikes: therapy sessions, crowds, dreaming, sleeping, screamo and sad songs, silence
Fears: that she'll start hallucinating again, that she'll lose someone else to her own actions
Strengths: intelligent, observant,
Weaknesses: impulsive, anxious, paranoid, not good at handling high levels of stress
And if you think that I'm wrong,
This never meant nothing to ya
History: Before being admitted to a previous hospital when she was sixteen for an 'unintentional' homicide, Cassidy lived with her mom, dad, and sister. Her father was sick and sentenced to bed rest for an undetermined amount of time. She soon walked in on her mother cheating on her father with her dad's coworker. Outraged, she took a bottle of kerosene to the house to set it on fire without realizing that her mom and her new boyfriend had left the house. She ended up killing her father who was unable to escape the fire in his condition.
She was admitted into a mental hospital for a year before her therapist announced that she had settled her unresolved issues. She came home to find that her mother was still dating her dad's coworker. In fact, they were newly engaged. She found a way to blame the fire that killed her father on the coworker, telling herself that he must have set the fire so he could be with her mom. She only confided this information in Phoebe, her older sister. The pair did a background check and found that he was a criminal. Fearing for her own life, she killed her mother's fiance. When her mother came home she asked her what happened. Cassie said that Phoebe did it but her mother shook her head and reminded her that Phoebe died in the fire that killed her father.
All along she kind of new this but didn't want to confront it. She now suffers from DID but no longer hallucinates.
