Appearance:

His messy black hair falls into his eyes, nearly covering one of them completely. His body is small, really small. With small shoulders and being very skinny and short Charlie looks much younger then he really is. He mainly wears long sleeved to shirts to hide the scars across his body his mother had inflicted on him though he can manage without long sleeves with the tattoos that cover nearly every inch of his arms. He has rather dark eyes, some say they are green some say they are brown so really they are more of a hazel color, sometimes brown and sometimes green.
He often wears skeleton gloves, again to hide his scarred skin from the sight of others to avoid awkward conversations. He has a lip piercing and a very small gage in his left ear, both are more optional and he does not usually wear them. Although a lot of his wardrobe is dark clothing and he does have a darker style Frank's style isn't exactly emo and he is very deffensive about that detail as he is not emo and has never inflicted harm on himself though the cut marks all over his body make it seem that way.
He isn't exactly a guy to wear makeup, he has been seen wearing reddish make eye make up in a sort of gothic looking way, he has also been seen in the past with black X marks over his eyes. This make up was mainly for show as he was once before in a rock band before the world went to hell, which explains the guitar he always has with him.
Charlie has quite a bit of tattoos, as stated below most being on his arms. On his index finger is a rather humorous tattoo of a mustache, so when he puts his finger up to his face he has a finger mustache, this could also be because his Italian heritage ( http://media.tumblr.com/tumblr_liiziomuFj1qctqp0.jpg ). Across his left shoulder is a portait of his grandfather at a drum set with 'La Mia Familia || Mio Idolo' which means ,My Family. Personality:

Charlie isn't good at most things, because he is destructive and ends up messing things up. People usually don't want to be around him because of this, because this trait also causes him to unintentionally hurt people around him. It's rare if anyone asks him to do anything, even though he always loves helping.
Charlie is bubbly to put it in short. He is often wanting to play around and cheer people up despite his own mood. People often find him annoying because of this, and even if they shoo him away or snap at him he'll keep trying. He is just the kind of guy who is constantly wanting to see people smile, because he knows the pain of being depressed and feeling useless, its just the kind of guy he is.
The boy is tragically depressed, to a point where he often cries for no apparent reason. Because of the scars littering his skin and the fact he was bullied about how tiny and weak he was he is insanely insecure about his body and hates people touching him in a fear they'll hurt him. He doesn't like hardly any of his skin showing, he even often wears gloves to hide his hands. Because of this in the hospital he is allowed separate shower time to avoid him having a mental breakdown as that does happen often when people can see his scars or touch him.
In a result of the violent home he lived in and the constant fights Charlie would get into, Charlie had moments when something violent happens he just sort of freezes up or even starts crying from vivid memories of what happened, and if not crying then just tragically emotional.
Charlie is almost always filled with anger. He manages to suppress his anger however but sometimes he has random violent streaks, where basically he'll beat the crap out of anything he can get his hands on. He gets fed up quite easily and will begin acting like a total jerk, but he will just storm away quickly after being ticked off. This boiling anger as well as his complete mental break downs when someone just touched him is why he ended up here, he is extremely over emotional and unstable, just the littlest things can upset him.

History:

Charlie was born on October 31st in 1993 at around 3:00 PM, silent and unmoving. Instantly he had been taken away from his mom, his birth had been rough and came out silently, but thankfully began breathing after being taken away by the nurses and doctors and taken care of. Really his mom didn't even get to see him that well at his birth, and as soon as he began breathing he had a seizure. The chances for him surviving were low but somehow he made it. Charlie wasn't able to be brought home for a while until he was healthy enough to survive without constant tending to by doctors. When he did get home his parents both loved him at the time, there were no issues in his life. It only really changed when he had a seizure in front of his mom when he was maybe 2 years old. the cause wasn't exactly specified but was thought to be because of flashing strobe lights.

After that one incident his mom stopped talking and taking care of him completely. All the responsibility fell onto his dad. So of course Charlie and his dad had a strong relationship. Because of this relationship when Charlie's mom tried to convince his dad to abandon him he refused, it was the one time his dad had stood up to Charlie's mom. So Charlie was kept, and neglected by his mom for the next 2 years of his life. After a while Charlie's mom even refused to let his own brother play with him, saying lies about Charlie being possessed by a demon. His brothers both being not to much older than him they were young a naive and believed his mom. At the time Charlie's oldest brother, Liam was 5 years older than him, and so had already started school. Of course being the little 8 year old gossiper he was Liam ended up telling just about the whole school that his brother was demon, news spread to siblings so by the time Charlie actually started Elementary school you could imagine what kind of nasty rumors were floating around.

The harassment in school didn't start thought until he was in 4th grade. Before that everyone just sort of ignored him save for a few maybe 3 or 4 maybe 5 of his friends. However he lost a large group of his friend when he started getting harassed, as the kids who hang out with the "demon kid" are "demon children" themselves. At lunch he would often be pelted with things like salt and walking around school he was constantly harassed, people sneering names at him, holding fingers up into crosses or the worst, getting spit on.

Around this time was when Charlie's over emotional and violent actions started to take place. Rather than acting like a sweet little kid he is now, Charlie would have full on fits, knocking of desks in the class room or constantly getting into fights with his brothers. It got to a point where he was constantly in the counseling office but he refused to talk about anything, terrified of being taken away from her parents.

he just struggled through the rest of elementary school crying a lot, being teased and shoved against walls and being called a demon. In middle school it only got worse. Of course his parents never knew about his constant harassment, like they would notice anyways. He would leave to school each morning with cuts and bruises from the previous night and come home with perhaps more battle scars from the day at school, it was simply to hard to tell he was suffering both at school and at home.

Soon Charlie's school councilors noticed, of course they did. But not soon enough. They tried to pry answers from Charlie about how he got so beat up and he would just refuse, say he fell out of a tree or wiped out on his skateboard. They didn't exactly have any legit evidence so they couldn't really do anything about it. In high school Charlie nearly died from blood loss because of his mom who slit open his wrists several times in an attempt to kill him. This wasn't the first time this happened but it was the one that was the final straw. Finally Charlie came clean about what had happened, he began literally sobbing. Once the truth was out Charlie was taken away to a foster home. He lived with his new family for about a year before they gave up. He was violent and always messing things up, never talking to them, not even once and crying when they would just try and talk to him about his past or convince him to wear something less hot in a fear he would pass out from a heat stroke. He would have full on panic attacks when someone touched him and even sometimes harmed people who touched him, it was then that he was placed in a mental institute.
