And as we ran from the cops
We laughed so hard it would sting
Appearance:
Daniel looks fairly average with pale skin and light hair. Threre are two scars on his face- right eyebrow/eye and chin, also on the right side.
His hair is most often messy and only mildly longish. The colour of his hair is variating between dark grey, lightly auburn and ash-light-brown.
Nolan's favorite clothing is simple and comfortable- dark colour jeans or sweatpants, hoodies or sweaters, and skate shoes and tennis shoes. He also wears a leather jacket or windbreaker.
Personality:
Daniel is emotional and sensitive person but he hides behind nonchalant mask of cold. He's deeply traumatized when was little and tried to hide it in his own mind, he suppressed the horrid memories and for a while was happy-go-lucky boy until he was introduced to skating and horses, which helped for a while.
However, stress over his competitions treated him not too gently which resulted in him slowly closing in on himself and he just got more on his own.
Dan's accidents left him deeply scarred and frightened, and angry. His nightmares turned him into an aggressive, self-destructive person.
Dan tried suicide which failed the first time and he got determined to finish himself off the next time.
The reason was that he felt useless and deeply depressed. He terribly missed his parents and beloved horse, leading to self-destruction.
However, deep inside there's still the little, happy boy too. He just hides.

This never meant nothing to ya
History:
At age of 4 witnessed his parents murder. The murderer tried to kill Dan too but a dog from street (which Dan had been secretly feeding) attacked the killer and caused neighbors to notice the events. Daniel survived the attack with only bruises and minor strangulation aftereffects (perp tried to strangle the boy while the dog bit out a piece of criminal's behind).
After that he was placed into custody of one of social workers until the all trials were over. Then he was placed into a group with other foster kids in a Children Home in New Jersey.
Since the age of 7 Daniel Nolan had been training in horseback riding and figure skating. At first it was just a therapy form among general animal therapy with dogs and cats, but later he became better and even joined state junior championships with good results.
At the age of 14 Nolan had a bad fall during figure skating competition and he suffered serious injuries (spinal injury, shoulder dislocation, fractured ribs and punctured lung). It took about two years to get over the incident.
At age of 17 Daniel Nolan had another fall-during horseback riding competition. This time the fall was even worse, leaving him with permanent aftereffects (migraine attacks, limp, stiffness, breathing problems) from cracked vertebrea in his thoraic spine, severe concussion with skull fractures, multiple rib fractures which resulted in repeated lung puncture and eventual collapse, and bad leg injury- knee dislocation with ligament rupture and bad ankle fracture.
Being so vulnerable and mentally broken had made Dan angry and aggressive towards anything. He had trouble to control himself and had terrible nightmares.
During his time at rehabilitation he met some really good people who tried to help him and got him over to California.
